This winter has been one of the coldest and snowiest in Massachusetts ever. But it makes me think of another very snowy winter we had a few years back. So I’ve collected a few of my favorite photos from then and now and combined them here in this pretty little tiled mosaic. The white stuff can be lovely…but here’s hoping warmer weather is coming soon!
While visiting my sister last month, I got three little garden piggies. (So you know, I love pigs.) The weather has been all over the place since then and when it finally calmed down this week for all of, oh, two days, I snatched the opportunity to buy a colorful plant and position the piggies near my entrance. So for a little diversion on what has been a gloomy day, I’m posting the photo I took earlier this week of my new entryway decor. Hope it makes you smile too!
>I was supposed to post something else today, but since we got snowed in, I thought I’d post photos of the snow instead! It’s the first notable snow storm of the winter here in Massachusetts. The last foot we had all melted in a warm spell, but this amount (about a foot and a half I think) should hang around a while. Everything turns an icky brown in winter and we need a nice blanket of white to keep things pretty.
